CLASS TIMES TERM 2
2-4 Year Olds Wednesdays 9-30am to 10-20am
4-5 Year Olds Wednesdays 10-30am to 11-20am
Classes for term 2 commence May 14th
Children aged 2 - 4 years and 4-5 years are invited with a parent to come together and discover music in a fun-filled musicianship course. There are 8 classes per term that include:
- Singing.
- Movement to music.
- Percussion activities... introducing childre to a variety of these instruments.
- Rhythmic activities.. to estabish a sense of beat and rhythm.
- Fundamental music skills... listening, rhythm, reading and coordination.
- Creativity... encouraging freedom of musical expression.
- Development of social skills ... and concentration abilities.
- Musical games... incorporating the above
- Piano and voice... accompanying the lessons
Playgroup music is conducted by Cassandra King who uses a mixture of Orff, Kodaly and Dalcrose Methodology in her teaching
FEES:
Fees include GST and are due on or before the first class.To secure a place in the class a non-refundable deposit of $20.00 is required. Fee schedule provided on enquiry.
